Credins Bank supports this initiative which brings not only innovation and economic development, but further promotes social inclusion, employment and sustainable local development. Implementing these new ideas best integrates the way of doing business in Albania, by raising the awareness of the citizens, utilization of natural resources and contributing to the promotion of local tourism. “Green Ideas” is an annual competition that Partners Albania has been organizing since 2012 as part of its work to promote entrepreneurship and social innovation. During the two days of competition, 20 individuals, civil society organizations and small business undertakings, presented their project ideas to a jury of experts who selected the three best ideas: – “Green Trails”: an idea by Vjosa Explorer Association, which aims at increasing the tourist offer in the district of Përmet through the designation of Green Trails, as an unexploited potential that enhances the experience of the visitors, increases the quality of time during their stay and impacts the reduction of seasonality of tourist activity which is useful to the increase of employability and social and economic development. – “Aloe Vera (Aloe Saponaria) in Albania”: an idea by Albi Sulo, a natural person, which consists in building a medical agricultural agriculture such as Aloe Saponaria (among the firsts in Albania) in a suburban area of Tirana municipality, aiming at turning the cultivating of Aloe Vera into a successful and profitable undertaking. – “Pana Souvenirs”: an idea by PezanaRexha, which aim at creating and developing a new line of products that are souvenirs “Made in Albania”. The effectuation of this initiative aims also at creating job and training opportunities and creating unique products that fully represent and identify Albania. The winning ideas will be financially supported up to ALL 800,000, through a fund created with contributions from local companies and private donors. One of them is Credins Bank. The winners will also be part of the Regional Competition “Philanthropy supporting Green Ideas” to be held in Macedonia in July this year.
