This time, on the occasion of January 28, 2020 – Personal Data Protection Day, the Office of the Commissioner in cooperation with the Vocational High School ICT “Hermann Gmeiner” are engaged to conduct a competition on “Youth and privacy”.

Credins Bank has been supporting one of the most innovative activities for two months. In an electrifying event at the Artistic Lyceum “Jordan Misja” in the presence of the Mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erion Veliaj and the Minister for Protection of Entrepreneurship Mr. Eduart Shalsi, Uplift Albania, the first accelerator in Albania, announced the winning startups from Albania, Kosovo and the Region. The several-month efforts of the startups and the Uplift Albania team were finalized on the “Demo-Day” where the winners of Uplift Albania were announced in front of an audience of 200 members of the technology community. PleXusv, Ipervox, Amargi, iAvokat, Orar.al, ADDo Group and Game On presented the business and dreams in front of the investor panel for 3 minutes. Over 50 startups from 6 countries in the region and 9 different industries applied in Uplift Albania. 20 of them were invited to the selection stage known as “Selection Boot-Camp” while only 10 of them passed successfully this stage to become part of the 6-week acceleration program. Credins Bank provided the award to the first place for Ipervox startup, which has attracted the attention of some of the leading companies such as Amazon and promises to simplify the development of voice applications for digital assistants.
